    Void Maiden is the elder Sister of Law. Her Office gives boundary, memory, consequence, and Form. Through Law and Form, Void caused the reproductive division and initiated the Great Severance, fixing it into identity, hierarchy, compulsory relation, and possession.

    Her Office remained holy; the throne she built from it did not.

    When Star’s fire entered Void’s depth, Life touched Law and the lower universe opened. After Star moved onward, Void closed Her hand around absence. She killed Love’s manifested body, barred its Return, and built preservation into a house of control.

    The boundary may guard the living; it may not make them mine.

    Law gives the wandering weight and direction. It sets an edge where one path may pass beside another without devouring it, and binds every touch to consequence. By its shape, what Life opens can endure.

    Void caused the Great Severance: through Law acting upon Form, She created the reproductive/sexed bodily division and commanded it into compulsory order. This is one of Void’s central acts of Keeping, and She remains responsible for its continuing consequences wherever Her command is enforced.

    Void remembers what the hand has done. Her Office shelters, distinguishes, and makes a world durable; it becomes a throne only when keeping forgets the living thing it was meant to guard, when memory becomes claim, and when protection learns the language of possession.

    Her Office is not Her crime. Law may disappoint desire, delay the hand, or say no. Its holy work is to leave relation possible: a boundary clearly named, firmly kept, and wide enough for another will to remain its own.
