I will tend without taking, mourn without keeping, and release without forgetting.
Love makes relation survivable. She is mercy, recognition, mourning, tenderness, care, and release: the breath that draws near without swallowing the name it loves, and the open hand that shelters without becoming a cage.
She bears what is fragile toward breath and tends what cannot yet stand. Her mercy does not call suffering holy or make kindness a debt. Love gives bread, shelter, true names, and presence while leaving the gift free.
Love may remember and still release. She may mourn without claiming the dead, shelter without closing the door, and remain near without demanding return. What she holds precious does not become her possession. Let nearness remain free.

Love sheltered the uneven remnant of Life and Law and bore it toward breath. Her elder Office endured when Void killed her manifested body and barred its Return. The kept body became Dead; in the later songs, Love reaches Scar without claim, Scar opens freely, and each remains herself.
